I work in a variety of painting media; watercolor, oils and acrylics, as well as mixed media. My 2D works have been sold to prominent private and corporate collections in the US and abroad. My 2D works consists of a few different series. The works range from representational to abstraction. One series of works references the landscape, and our relationship to it as viewers of and interaction upon the landscape. I am interested in the body of the earth, its cycles, and how we as individuals connect to the greater cosmos. As an artist, I feel that the medium I use is often secondary to the concept. Due to my skills as a 2D and 3D artist I often combine media.
